The field of cybersecurity is constantly changing, especially in the cloud environment. To maintain the accuracy, relevance and excellence of ISC2 exams, we regularly conduct Job Task Analysis (JTA) studies to review and update exam outlines. JTAs are a methodical process used to determine tasks that are performed in the field by credential holders, as well as the knowledge and skills required to execute those tasks successfully.
nThis review process is continual for all ISC2 certifications, resulting in regular updates to exams and exam outlines. A JTA Study Workshop is tentatively scheduled for February 21-23, 2024, as the next step in the certification lifecycle.
nAs we prepare for this workshop, we would like to hear from all active CCSP certification holders. To assist in this process, please review the current CCSP exam outline CCSP exam outline and consider the following questions:
nDo you believe that the current CCSP exam outline adequately covers the existing and emerging cybersecurity techniques and threats CCSP practitioners are facing in their jobs today?
nIf not, what sort of topics/content should be added to the CCSP exam outline?
nWhat content currently on the CCSP exam outline is no longer relevant to today’s professionals?
nPlease send your answers to these questions to ccspjta@isc2.org no later than January 31, 2024. Please include your member ID # in your email. Your comments will be compiled and presented to the JTA Committee for further review.
