Therenare many “NIS2 experts” out on the web, offering training at a premium,nbut this path is not always accessible.n
nnIn the 2024 report,nnCyber security for SMBs: Navigating Complexity and BuildingnResilience, nearly 52% of small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) indicated thatnthey want support with training and education, and 44% say economicnuncertainty/cost of living has reduced cybersecurity budgets.n
nnThe ISC2 team has collaborated with certified practitioners to helpnprovide a free resource for members and associates to use in navigatingnNIS2 impact. Last year, our staff worked for around four months with 76ncertified cybersecurity professionals from 21 countries to build andesktop reference guide. More than 350 hours were spent – betweennvolunteers and ISC2 staff members – in a peer-to-peer effort to developnthe most relevant and useful guidance for practitioners.
